Ryan Pierce

Artist Statement:

I studied art at Eastern Michigan University, Henry Ford Community College, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northern Michigan University in 1998. I’m a member of the Valley Fine Arts Association and a member of the Valley Arts Alliance. I have always had a passion for figure studies.  The way light creates shadow on the human form. I currently live in Alaska and the wild outdoors has inspired me to paint local wildlife.  My style of art has developed by incorporating my drawing techniques into my paintings.  I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
